This year marks our 5th Annual Art Walk, and we’re going bigger, brighter, and bolder than ever! We’re calling on all artists, artisans, makers, and creative spirits to join in — from painters and potters to bakers, knitters, and crafty kids. Whether your art hangs on walls, grows in pots, or comes fresh from the oven, we want to see it!

Well, folks — the dust has settled, the hay bales are quiet, and our boots are still tappin’ from one heck of a good time at the Annual Monte Nido Square Dance!

California, one of the most biodiverse regions in the world, celebrates California Biodiversity Week each September to honor its unique plants, animals, and ecosystems while raising awareness about conservation. On Saturday, September 7, 2025, visitors are invited to join National Park Service rangers and partners in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area for a free beginner-friendly Nature Journaling Workshop.
